Here are six things why recruiters are considered irratating:

  1. Posting in all caps
  2. Marketing to companies
  3. Pretending to have good candidates or pretending to know what the company does
  4. Presenting candidates that are mined from job boards
  5. Thinking that every contingency placement is worth 30%
  6. Trying to bypass hr

Recruiters that take no interest in their client companies.

Recruiters that don’t know what their clients manufacture, sell, make or produce.

Recruiters that don’t know how to interview or recruit for the positions in which the client needs to fill.

Recruiters that send less-than-skilled-or-qualified-applicants and still expect their client to pay a 50% mark-up.

Recruiters that post on the same internet sites that their clients do. “Go somewhere else and be more creative than the rest of us, isn’t that what I’m paying you for?”
