Google Base: an Alternative To Craigslist

If you have a Google account, you know that there are many great features available to you for your business. Within your Google account, your can create a listing in Google Base, an online classified.  The team at Google is looking forward to including your content. They accept all types of information - whether it’s your store inventory, collection of original poetry, a research paper, or employers posting job openings.

After you submit your content, Google will make it available and searchable to others. If you have an AdWords account, you can tie in your Google Base listing and create a pay-per-click campaign, thus attracting more visitors to your listing.

If you only have a few things you’d like to share, Google recommends that you create your items individually. Simply enter your information in Google Base via a web form, and it will be hosted on a page on Google Base. Here are some step-by-step instructions:
